ICRC customer product information management issues

In 2005, the ICRC decided to create a Product Catalog to standardise demand for equipment and help field operators, technicians, doctors and logisticians to communicate their needs more effectively.

Thousands of data sheets had to be created, containing as much detail as possible.

Very quickly, these thousands of Word and Excel files became unmanageable.
